The Administrative Coordinator supports the core operational functions of Sponsored Programs: proposal and award processing. This role is critical to our customer service role and mission. Responsibilities include logging and tracking proposals throughout the submission process, intake and triage of awards and award actions, award closeout, data entry and paper/electronic file maintenance. The Administrative Coordinator is also responsible for reception responsibilities, answering main line phones and distributing mail for SP and PAFO. Coordinator may also be asked to support other administrative and operational needs of the department.Required Skills
Requires at least one year of administrative experience or equivalent experience. Incumbent must have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable working in different technical systems with the appropriate training and have great customer service and effective written and verbal communication skills. Must enjoy working with a wide range of people on various tasks in a deadline driven environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms and bend to lift items. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products, catering and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
