Location: Baker College Online (Remote Position - Online Delivery)
Compensation: Compensation based on education and existing rates for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc.
Start Date: Spring 2021

Reports To: Program Director - IT
Work Schedule: Varies - maximum of 9 credits per semester and/or up to 28 hours per week

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of ADJUNCT FACULTY - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (CISCO NETWORKING) (PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College Online.

General Statement of Duties:

The primary purpose of the Part-Time Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline and appropriate certifications preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus appropriate certifications or minimum 5 years of related work experience required
  • Appropriate Certifications required:
    • CCI (Cisco Certified Instructor)
    • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator)
  • Previous teaching experience in on-ground and/or online environments preferred
  • Proficient with Canvas, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and the Internet
  • Must have effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Online education platform familiarity preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach a specified number of classes
  • Revise, review and/or develop curriculum, as needed
  • Complete all required professional development/training
  • Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data
  • Participate in appropriate campus and system committees, meetings, projects, and activities
  • Other duties as assigned
