A.T. Still University of Health Sciences (ATSU) is seeking applicants for a senior administrative assistant on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The senior administrative assistant performs a wide range of administrative and general support duties of a highly responsible and confidential nature, and reports to high-level officer involved in numerous dynamic and confidential considerations of strategic organizational relationships. 

Job Duties:
  •  Supports Vice President, Associate Vice President and the Hometown Scholarship Coordinator.
  •  Schedule meetings and discussions.
  •  Book travel and travel accommodations, prepare meeting schedules, travel expense reports and travel packets.
  •  Daily verbal and written communication with university partners.
  •  Maintain, update, research & disseminate Health Center Residency Spreadsheet.
  •  Reserve conference rooms and classrooms for departmental meeting and events with students.
  •  Assists Senior Executive Assistant to the President with office operations.
  •  Assure broad administrative coverage services by serving as a back-up for the President & Senior Vice President of University Planning.
  •  Assist Director of Arizona Operations as needed.
  •  Duties include US mail and monthly reporting of mail usage, interoffice mail, assist as needed with front desk in main building.
  •  Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
  • Ability to respond to political and other sensitive situations with tact.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
  • Ability to high-light and report situations needing special attention.
  • Ability to interact collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to function at a high level on ATSU’s email -schedule- task system.
  • Ability to use Adobe Professional.
  • Ability to use Google products.
  • Ability to provide ‘a voice with a smile’ over phone systems.
  • Ability to share important time-tables & reminders with senior officers – without perceived intrusion. 
  • Ability to lift up to a box of copy paper to fill copier.
