High school graduate or equivalent with business courses; Three years secretarial experience or combination of experience and/or training; standard office machines; computer skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with data tracking collection/tracking. Demonstrated computer expertise; proficient in word processing and Excel.


Bachelor’s Degree; More than three year’s experience with part at SRSU or other related experience; Word processing, database, and spreadsheet computer program skills. Demonstrated experience working with technology in a multi-media related environment; Microsoft Excel, BANNER, Word, Outlook. Bilingual.

Primary Responsibilities

The Data Tracking Specialist position is responsible for:Collecting data for the project; Record keeping and data entry; Report preparation and documentation; project communication; provide administrative support to the Project Director; maintain files, records of meetings, financial records, training schedules and rosters, and development/pilot course sequence. Performs tasks requiring skill in keyboarding and computer usage; may transcribe varied material from dictation or draft; may type correspondence, forms, statistical reports, manuscripts, or proposals; composes routine correspondence and compiles reports; maintains various records and filing systems; handles and maintains confidential information;

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.

Position is Security Sensitive.
