Job Description Summary
This posting is for a Lab Manager position in Dr. John Wherry's lab. The Wherry lab is interested in understanding immune responses to chronic infections and cancer and uses both murine models of infection as well as human samples to investigate these responses. The Lab Manager will be responsible for ordering, establishing and managing a database of laboratory orders, maintaining equipment, receipt of deliveries, develop and manage inventories of research material, managing laboratory protocols for safe use and maintenance of biological and chemical materials, organize group meetings, and orient and onboard new lab members. Candidate should have experience working in a basic science lab, a working knowledge of biology is required and immunology (preferred). Position is contingent on continued funding.

Candidate should have experience working in a research science lab and a strong working knowledge of biology is required, with the preferred candidate having some immunology background.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience in research or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Position is contingent upon funding.
