Adjunct Faculty- Community Health Worker in the U.S.
Trinity Washington University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach for the Health Services program starting Spring 2021. The course to be taught is Community Health Worker in the U.S. This course will be taught one night a week and will be taught completely online via Zoom with interactive course lectures.
Qualifications:
- Successful candidates should have completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a health education, public health, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with a terminal degree.
- The candidate must have recent undergraduate classroom teaching experience
- Should be a Community Health Worker (CHW) or have extensive experience working with CHWs.
- Passionate, engaging, organized, and comfortable working with technology
- Have a desire to help students and ability to support a wide range of students.
- Able to navigate different personalities and difficult topics in the course.
- Assertive with students regarding deadlines and work expectations.
- Vast knowledge and experience in the LMS platform Moodle
- Vast knowledge and experience in Zoom
