The Enrollment Specialist has an upbeat, positive and outgoing personality as s/he serves as the face of a growing and dynamic organization. The Specialist works as part of a collaborative, integrated team and shows initiative in supporting the needs of students and the College community.

The Enrollment Specialist assists students with all aspects of enrollment, including application, appointments, financial aid, testing, registration, user accounts, and online support services. The specialist is able to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and practices effective time management in accomplishing assigned duties while delivering exceptional customer service.

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Duties

These are the job duties for required of the position.

Actively greet all visitors and manage phone for Advising Services and Records and serve as the first contact to offer assistance with general questions/services associated with Admissions, Advising, Testing, Records, Financial Aid, and Student Receivables.

Percentage of time25Responsibility/Duty

Effectively utilize Colleague software to:

Change to demographic information,

Update academic program, advisor,
location, and directory release

Process registrations, adds/drops and withdrawals for credit and non-credit, including no-show purges

Activation and registration of non-degree seeking students

Provide assistance for account activation and unlock/reset passwords for application and student accounts.

Assist with processing enrollment verifications, transcript requests, and graduation application requests.

Percentage of time25Responsibility/Duty

Effectively utilize MS Office software to schedule student appointments with Enrollment Counselors, Academic Advisors, Financial Aid Counselors and Testing.

Percentage of time10Responsibility/Duty

Other Duties:

Assist with commencement activities, including preparing gowns for distribution, gown check-out/check-in, mailing diplomas

Serve as backup for other Enrollment Specialist(s)

Maintain files; ensure information is organized, updated, imaged and linked.

Assist with various enrollment services software applications as needed.
