Will conduct and provide oversight for all activities associated with the UofSC portion of the research plans in this proposed application, as well as required reports and grant management. In particular, will be in charge of all activities related to the cluster RCT, including finalizing all translated Vietnamese-language intervention materials, recruiting interventionists, training interventionists, and training the team at National Geriatric Hospital to provide support to the interventionists team in Hai Duong. Will oversee the progress of the intervention for caregivers, and overseeing the data collection and management for the RCT. Will also support the preparation of manuscripts based on the project results (in Vietnamese and English). Will also actively participate in the research building component of the project, which includes coordinating the consortium of a research network of multiple institutions in Vietnam, organizing an annual network meeting, coordinating the meetings of team members in Vietnam. Will also spend time translating, reviewing and revising important bi-lingual documents of the projects.

Required Education and Experience

PhD. Experience in social work or social science skills, language skills, organizational skills, and record keeping. Bilingual in English and Spanish and be proficient in the ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD and Master’s Social Work


Ability to gather data from primary and secondary sources of information, organize and analyze this material, and prepare written reports to superior and/or Dean.
