Executive Education is responsible for the development and management of all the school's non-degree program offerings. The mission of our organization is to “use GSB faculty ideas to inspire global leaders to change their thinking and drive positive impact throughout their organizations.” Executive Education also provides an ideal vehicle for the GSB to experiment with innovation in both content and pedagogy.

As part of the GSB Executive Education team, you'll serve as the face of Executive Education to internal and external audiences. The position will work closely with both faculty and corporate client partners to create an impactful Executive Education program for senior corporate executives. Work is expected outside of the normal 8 am - 5 pm workday to support program operations and events. This role reports to a Managing Director in GSB Executive Education. It is a one-year fixed-term position.

Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Establish a strong sales pipeline for the GSB Executive Education's portfolio of virtual, online and in-person custom programs by prospecting, qualifying and closing leads.
  • Take the lead in planning and delivering programs.
  • Represent the program within the department. Represent the program or function at the university level and/or to external constituencies.
  • Support senior Stanford faculty to design and develop new programs based on corporate client needs, market opportunities, faculty research and Stanford differentiation.
  • Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategy that may include relationship development, communications and compliance.
  • Potentially develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Assess training needs and may develop associated training.
  • Be flexible to completing any other additional assigned duties.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities, and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to accomplish goals working through formal and informal channels, with diplomacy and tactfulness.
  • Demonstrated creativity, problem solving, critical analysis, initiative, judgment and decision- making skills.

In addition, our preferred requirements include:
  • Strong relevant subject matter knowledge.
  • Prior experience of GSB Executive Education.
