Description:

The School of Nursing invites applications for the following full-time faculty position. We offer the following programs: BSN, RN to BSN, and Entry Level Masters. Successful candidates will offer the following:

    A commitment to excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and researchAwareness of healthcare dynamics and changing nursing rolesActive engagement in curriculum and program developmentDesire and ability to maintain an active research programEnthusiastic advising /mentoring of students in coursework, research, and professional practiceParticipate in program review and accreditation reportingParticipate in faculty governanceMaintain clinical specializationGenerate creative ways of teaching and supporting learnersSkilled in utilizing a variety of teaching methodsModel a passion for learning and excellence in the classroom and clinical settingsAssist students in achieving competence in practice



Specialization: Clinical Specialization



Responsibilities:

    This position will develop and teach undergraduate and pre-licensure graduate courses and contribute to the teaching and scholarship. Applicants should include evidence of high-quality teaching and also show potential for active research. May be needed to work at alternative Regional Campuses or Sites.

Level: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor



Qualifications:

    Earned doctorate from an accredited university in Nursing or closely related discipline. May consider a Masters degree with extensive clinical experience.Active California Registered Nurse license or eligible to acquire



Experience: Candidates require professional expertise and experience in coordination with specific position requirements.



Workload: Full-time
