The Department of Radiation Oncology in the School of Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill invites applications for a fixed-term faculty position (rank dependent on qualifications) whose principal assignment will be at the Wake/Johnston County division. We cover 5 sites in Raleigh, Clayton, and Smithfield, NC, including Rex Hospital in Raleigh. We are an academic-minded practice and participate in multiple tumor boards each week. We have HDR brachytherapy, linac-based SRS, and SBRT. Within our system we have a robust clinical research program, enrolling patients on both national and UNC trials. We are seeking highly-qualified and personable candidates. All physicians in our group are UNC-Chapel Hill faculty under Dr. Lawrence B. Marks, Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology. We welcome applications from both new graduates as well as experienced physicians. Applicants must possess a MD degree with subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology. Board certification or eligibility is required.
