•Assist with the planning and coordinating of graduate retention events such as workshops, orientations, symposiums, etc.
•Assist with scanning, records management, etc.
•Assist in the administration of the day-to-day operations
•Experience/knowledge of computer user assistance, data maintenance.
•Coordinate social media and other types of communications.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•Assist with incoming inquiries and incoming visitors.
•Other tasks as assigned.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications

•Must be a full-time graduate student (9 hours during the Fall or Spring semester and 6 hours during Summer months)
•Able to work well with diverse groups of people and have good communication skills
•Must possess superior writing and editing skills
•Must have excellent organizational and project management skills
•Must be able to work independently with little supervision
•Must posses computer and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration preferred.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
