Job Summary: Instruction of Communication courses in the areas of Human Communication and Mass Communication. The current need is for instructors to teach synchronously via online video conferencing. Future employment after spring 2021 may include campus-based teaching assignments. This is not an online teaching position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Communication required; graduate-level course work related to assigned classes.

The Equipment You'll Need:

It is HACC’s expectation that candidates selected for this role will provide their own technology equipment while working remotely.

Job Specific Task List:

  • Provides academic instruction and student academic support for assigned classes in the areas of Human Communication and Mass Communication. Performs tasks designed to ensure the quality and consistency of academic instruction. - (Essential)
  • Adjunct faculty must develop instructional methods for their assigned course(s). The instructional methods must pertain to the course(s) learning outcomes and course catalog description. - (Essential)
