NEURORADIOLOGIST

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA, GAINESVILLE

The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida is actively recruiting to fill one position for a fellowship-trained neuroradiologist at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor.  This position is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, non-tenure track position with primary assignments at UF-Health Shands.  Clinical responsibilities include patient care and teaching of housestaff and medical students.   

The University of Florida is listed by US N&WR in the top ten of state universities in the US and offers a full array of undergraduate, graduate, and post doc training in Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine and many subspecialized research areas in the Basic Sciences.  Gainesville is a comfortable midsized university town with a full service airport, excellent restaurants and nightlife, and convenient access to coastal and other Florida attractions.


Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include an M.D or equivalent degree with completion of an ACGME accredited neuroradiology fellowship.   An interest in Head and Neck radiology as well as advanced MR imaging, including DTI and fMRI, is preferred.  Candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible in Radiology and must obtain a Medical license in the State of Florida prior to employment
