Job Description:

The College of Dentistry is recruiting for an OPS Lab Technician to perform molecular and immunological analyses to investigate the pathogenesis of Sjogren’s syndrome pathogenesis.

Expected Salary:

$19.00-21.00/hour

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of related experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in performing techniques below is preferred, but not required.

• General cell culture
• Molecular cloning and transfection
• Screening for protein expression: western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry
• Screening for gene expression: realtime PCR, in situ hybridization
• General lab maintenance
