Description:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations, the Assistant Director of Operations will be responsible for assisting with the creation and maintenance of reports, technical systems and operational processes in the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the operational process of undergraduate transfer and international applicants
Generate print communications for transfer and international applicants
Manage communication flow timelines
Perform quality controls to ensure communications and data are accurate
Develop reports for internal and external constituents using Slate (CRM) and MS Access
Manage the transfer credit evaluation process and supplemental communications
Supervise the transfer support team, including managing their assignments and workload
Other responsibilities as assigned

Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Conference, and the NCAA.

Hours:
Extended hours are required in support of daily production, special projects, events and deadlines.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree is required. The successful candidate must be detail oriented and possess excellent analytical, technical and communication skills. The candidate must also be able to prioritize daily assignments while handling ad hoc projects and interacting with different levels of management. Experience creating and querying databases using Microsoft Access as well as experience with Ellucian Banner and Slate (CRM) is preferred.
