Job Summary:

Provide day-to-day assistance with the Professional and Organizational Development events that run weekly, maintain documents from workshops as well as tasks related to setting up or breaking down events.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiar with the keyboard functions and ability to type at least a minimum of 30 words per minute. Familiar with printers/copier/scanner.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Professional and Organizational Development is service orientated and would prefer the person be comfortable in an area that works with all employee groups to include senior management, outside vendors, community members and BOT.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills desired.
Ability to work in a face-paced and changing environment.
PowerPoint a plus.

Essential Duties:

1. Prep box for each workshop with resources/materials necessary for that workshop
2. Assist with making copies as necessary
3. Filing
4. Simple data entry
5. Set-up and breakdown of events
6. Inventory of marketing materials and supplies
7. Answering phone as needed and taking messages
8. Maintaining inventory list

Other Duties:

Pushing cart to and from events to set-up and breakdown workshops, lifting up to 25 lbs (training materials, inventory etc.)

Physical Demands:

Light (up to 25 lbs occasionally or 10 lbs frequently)

Visual Acuity (arm’s length)
