Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Contributes to the Department of Victim Studies undergraduate and graduate educational missions and demonstrates a commitment to excellence in teaching, research as well as service. The incumbent will be expected to teach substantive courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level, maintain a research agenda, mentor students, and participate in service to the department.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or a closely related academic field and an established record of scholarship, teaching, and service commensurate with the rank for which they are applying.
Experience Required for the Position
Primary consideration will be given to candidates with an applied research agenda and practical experience in the field of victim services.
