Program Analyst 2, C.W. Bill Young Marrow Donor center - Georgetown University Medical Center

Our team is seeking a Program Analyst, who will coordinate all donor activities (i.e., information session, sample collection, physical exam and clearance, travel arrangements) for the C.W. Bill Young Marrow Donor center, up to and including stem cell donation and follow-ups after the stem cell donation. The Program Analyst reports directly to the Manager of Donor Services and Work-Up Team Leaders, works with the Associate Director, and staff, various military installations, civilian hospitals, and other NMDP donor and transplant centers to ensure timely coordination of sample collection and medical testing of potential stem cell donors. Additionally, Program Analyst reviews all medical screening information and performs follow-up with all DoD volunteer stem cell donors. These functions are performed in accordance with the philosophy, policies and standards of Georgetown University Medical Center and NMDP.

The Program Analyst interacts routinely with other Donor Center Coordinators, Team Leaders, Manager, Program Directors, potential donors, nurses, physicians and other Donor centers and Contract Labs.

Qualifications
  • Academic: Minimum requirement of Bachelor's degree. Master's degree in nursing or health-related field preferred. Upon evaluation, equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Practical Experience: 1-2 years donor coordination experience, or 3-5 years, preferably in a health related field, or equivalent combination.
  • Technical Qualifications: Computer experience with word processing, advance oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Other Skills: Good computer skills and advanced organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Ability to work with colleagues and donors of diverse backgrounds and attention to detail.
