Job Summary

The Counseling and Accessibility Services office is seeking an individual to provide clerical assistance. The work hours are Monday through Thursday 2 PM to 6 PM; Friday 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The responsibilities include: answering telephone; filing office documents, making copies, telephoning students, updating job boards, checking in supplies, delivery of documents to professors and others, and assisting students with completing intake application process. Additional duties include inventory of food locker, checking mail daily, and other administrative/clerical duties as assigned. (Can be flexible with work hours to arrange around student class schedule).

Responsibilities
    Answer telephones and greet studentsTyping general correspondence and filing documents.Assist students with general inquiries.Mail pick-up and delivery. Update Job Board Storage of Supplies both in office and Food LockerAssist with Food locker display and distribution-set-up of food for participantsStaff food locker as necessary and maintain inventory
Required Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Current Atlanta Metropolitan State College student in good standing with at least a 2.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA)

    Students must have a class schedule showing course scheduleAttention to detail, professionalism, dependability, and strong communication skillsPunctual.Previous customer service experience not required, however preferred. Ability to utilize Microsoft office suite (specifically word and excel)
