Library Technician, Library AnnexHoward Tilton Library
Location: New Orleans, LA
SummaryUnder the direction of the Library Annex Manager, the Library Technician works with other library staff and student assistants to process materials for moving, off-site transfer, or withdrawal. Assists with collections management through inventories and shifting of materials. Prepares materials requested by library users for pickup by the library's courier or for scanning. This position is based at the library's offsite storage facility (annex), but may be assigned to work at various Tulane libraries.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree OR high school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of directly related work experience
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Academic library experience in technical services or circulation
- Familiarity with Voyager and OCLC
