The Accounting & Financial Management (ACFM) Department at Bucknell University's Freeman College of Management seeks to hire a full time clinical faculty member to teach business law and related topics to begin Spring 2021. Candidates should be willing and able to teach business law and one or two related courses such as real estate law, negotiations, or forensic accounting. Candidates should have a Juris Doctor. Candidates with pertinent professional experience will be given preference. The teaching load is six courses per year. Business law is a required course for both our accounting and finance majors and topics include those tested on the CPA exam. In addition to teaching, duties will include serving on department and/or college committees, individual student advising (including pre-law students), and student-focused activities such as advising professional student organizations. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. We expect to offer a five-year renewable contract.

MANAGEMENT MAJORS AT BUCKNELL
The approximately 550 students in the Freeman College of Management may choose among six majors offered by highly interdisciplinary departments that combine courses in the various disciplines of management with offerings in the arts, humanities, natural and social sciences, and engineering. The College currently offers majors in accounting, business analytics, finance, global management, managing for sustainability, and markets, innovation and design. The Community

The city of Williamsport is about a 30-minute drive from campus, and Penn State University’s main campus is about an hour away, as is Harrisburg, Pennsylvania’s state capital. Bucknell is about three hours from New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
