Salary Information

Starting salary: $56,735 (work experience and meeting the desired qualifications listed may be considered in setting a salary above the minimum)

Job Summary

Coordinate the Career Advantage processes which affect enrollment and billing, recruitment, communication, and marketing. Work with DMACC staff, partner school districts, and state agencies to provide coordinated processes of communication and documentation.

Essential Functions

Coordinate district-wide activities involved in documentation and invoicing of concurrent enrollment programming at area high schools, DMACC campuses, and Career Academies. Manage data collection, track and invoice tuition fees, serve as department liaison for school district superintendents and business managers. Update, send, collect and maintain Educations Services agreements with all cooperating school districts. Research and resolve billing issues for school districts and DMACC.

Monitor contact hours of individual concurrent enrollment courses in the high school and career academies to ensure compliance with course requirements.

Coordinate the onboarding process for all new concurrent enrollment instructors including communication of requirements, collection of application materials, and submission for approval.

Develop and supervise term department database/spreadsheets for concurrent enrollment programming. Operations analysis: develop, prepare, and coordinate information for documenting data and analysis of ROI regarding budgets (revenue/expense analysis for Career Academies, revenue breakdown of high school tuition fees, etc.), enrollment (breakdown of enrollment trends in each division, historical overview of CA enrollment, etc.), and scheduling.

Collect and maintain benchmark data regarding processes and work with staff and faculty to ensure effective student transitioning paths to DMACC. Facilitate coordination of district-wide communications, marketing, training, and meetings among various branches of the department.

Coordinate and/or assist with ongoing department projects including recruitment efforts, registration processes in the high schools, NACEP, and Project Lead the Way. Provide data collection and documentation; coordinate project training, set-up and supply requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

Two years of educational experience or related.

Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty and administration.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.

Knowledge of current software applications.

Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree.

Community college experience.

Four years of work experience in an educational setting.

Experience with databases and spreadsheets in an educational setting.

Knowledge of educational billing processes.

Experience with payroll, human resource, and student information systems and Microsoft Office systems.
