21-Sep-2020 Close All Job SummaryThe Department of Human Resources encourages applications for a Licensed Staff Counselor with Multicultural Focus to join our outstanding team! The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) meets the psychological needs and well-being of university employees by providing culturally relevant counseling (1:1, couples, families), advising, and educational workshops.
This Counselor will specifically focus on identifying and supporting underserved and historically marginalized employees at the university. It is important that this position recognizes the effects that discrimination, prejudice, and systemic oppression has on marginalized individuals, and how these negative biases may lead to psychological trauma and stress.
