The successful candidate will be expected to develop an internationally recognized and externally supported research program in addition to teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. Specific responsibilities will be assigned at the time of hire.Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in Organic Chemistry or related field with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service.Preferred Applicants seeking to bring chemical approaches to bear upon impactful problems at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine are especially encouraged to apply. The environment is highly collaborative with faculty members who have intersecting research interests that include many aspects of basic and applied research. There are two chemistry buildings with ample space for research laboratories, in addition to machine, electronic, and glass shops.
