Job Summary
Create engaging content and messages for a variety of platforms to tell the University story. Support University marketing and communications efforts.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with administrators, faculty, staff and students for news gathering and source development
- Coordinate photography, videography and design for a variety of publications and other sources (i.e., web, social media, news)
- Produce social media content and news stories
- Monitor social media accounts
- Create reports on social media activity and other metrics
- Develop, manage and implement social media and writing projects
- Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Required Experience
- Two (2) years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Established portfolio of writing experience
- Demonstrated ability to write for different platforms and audiences
Preferred Experience
- Experience with coordinating videography, photography and other creative services
Proposed Salary
$40,200
