Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: 

 

Under the general direction of the Director of Maintenance and or designee, the Facilities Customer Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the Facilities Maintenance Customer Service Center. The Facilities Customer Service Manager shall interface between users who request service and those who ultimately perform service to ensure quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee the monitoring systems which prompt and track asset emergencies, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Ensure the appropriate steps are taken to manage the repair, maintenance, and inventory of equipment assets
  • Develop programs and processes according to facilities maintenance requirements, evaluate quality and efficiency, and recommend improvements
  • Monitor work order entry, distribution to shops, performance, and completion
  • Develop reports, analyze data, report outcomes, and recommend improvements and validate success
  • Oversee data entry and work management processes
  • Manage employees. Responsible for performance management including appraisals and disciplinary actions. Assist with the hiring process, training, and scheduling of employees
  • Develop and maintain budget and costs. Notify management when Facilities Maintenance costs are not following budget detail, with plans to resolve concerns
  • Ensure compliance with and maintain joint commission and/or accreditation standards
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Facilities management, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of related experience with a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
  • Work on assignments that are extremely complex in nature in which independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations
  • Extensive knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and industry standards and the ability to create, implement and evaluate preventive maintenance programs
Additional Information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Joint Commission accreditation
  • Knowledge of select agent protocols
