Job Description:

The Pre-Doctoral / Post-Doctoral Fellow is a one-year, part-time (.5 FTE) position to assess community needs and develop systems related to parent training and academic training for children. Main duties include developing, recruiting, planning, and facilitating services to meet community needs related to parent training and academic services. The position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with TCS Community Partners. The position also involves recruiting TCS ABA master’s and bachelor’s students as practicum students, and then supervising them.

Principal Duties:
Program Development
• Collect program surveys and analyze data to create a clinical plan for parent training and academic services
• Survey participant and potential participant agencies to identify current needs and ways we can develop services
• Use feedback and information to plan next steps for development
• Take the lead on professional publications and presentations
• Design additional training and develop services further

Manage agency relationships
• Work with TCS Community Partnership Program to recruit agencies/schools
• Make presentations at agencies to familiarize staff with program
• Follow-up with agency leadership to get feedback on the program and identify other training opportunities

Supervision of students (starting in Spring)
• Provide supervision to students related to the BACB task list
• Review and provide feedback on trainings/materials
• Develop and lead team building/assessment activities
• Recruit and interview student interns
• Evaluate and provide feedback to student interns

Interwoven Team
• Work with the psychologists and other team members at the clinic
• Participate in grant writing/data collection as needed
• Professionally collaborate with inter-professional colleagues

Presentations and Research
• Social media promotion of activities and research
• Disseminating applied work in the professional community

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• BCBA in good standing
• Completed the supervision training
• Demonstrated experience in parent training and academic skill building
• Ability to maintain and build strong relationships
• Facilitation experience to lead activities during the program
• Strong presentation skills
• Manage multiple projects during the program
• Adaptable to change and proactively seeks solutions
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
• Current Doctoral Student or recent graduate in PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis
• Experience with telehealth, as this position will be remote for the Fall semester.
