Under the general supervision of the Endodontic Department performs clinical and academic teaching services to residents and undergraduate dental students for the department of endodontics.

1.Instructional workload: coverage includes preclinical and clinical teaching, formal lectures and small group seminars, in both predoctoral and post graduate specialty program.
2.Must be qualified as specialist in Endodontology.
3.Mentorship of current students interested in applying for post grad programs in the specialty is expected.

Basic Qualifications

DDS or equivalent
Specialty certification in Endodontology.

Minimum of 2 years pre-doctoral and post graduate level instruction.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience prior to specialty certification

Support high quality research.

1.Position is eight hours per day, three days per week.
2.Must be available for occasional evening teaching.

1.Provide leadership and structure to students in clinical behaviors.
2.Perform duties using highest level academics and clinical skills.
3.Demonstrate effective and professional behaviors and verbal communication skills in all interactions.
4.Demonstrate good organizational skills and handle multiple students simultaneously.
5.Demonstrate strong attention to quality and humanistic teaching.

1.Work performed is primarily clinical teaching and demonstration
2.Occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and pushing.
