Manage, plan, organize and coordinate programs and services within the statewide network to member and non-member OKA+ Schools’ sites. Ensure relevant guidelines, specifications, policy and/or procedures are followed for academic related programs, groups, and/or services. Assign, supervise and assess programming work and network consultants to make sure educational needs and goals are being met. Facilitates communication between Oklahoma A+ Schools office/staff, A+ Fellows, consultants and Oklahoma schools participating at some level with the OKA+ Schools Network concerning program and/or services. Coach and support schools their leaders, teachers and students, to help them set and achieve goals relevant to the needs of the schools. Creates, manages, and maintains relevant databases to ensure accurate and accessible records. Make site visits, collect information and prepare reports summarizing statistical data describing and analyzing program objectives, making adjustments and recommendations for future work.

Department Specific Essential Job Functions:

Manage a portion of the statewide network schools’ sites. Responsible to coach and guide assigned schools to meet goals and educational standards. Responsible for program planning for the development of the network and network communications within assigned region as well as in conjunction with other program staff for statewide network consistency. This entails creating strategies, managing information, forecasting needs, responding to principals and teachers, etc. Design, plan, and implement network support for school sites and educators through regional meetings (networking meetings, teacher exchanges, conferences), with a balance of both technology led (such as twitter chats, skype, etc.) and site based meetings as appropriate. Attend regular meetings with Program Director and other Regional Coordinators to manage, plan, collaborate, and share information regarding the needs of the network schools and education in general. Conducts school visits regularly to coach school leaders and teachers, assist in determining specific support needs, and then design and manage the implementation of providing those supports. Make adjustments and decisions in the field, to provide timely and relevant information and training to schools. Provide and schedule on site professional development, including making decisions as to which A+ Fellow(s) to assign, making all contacts, overseeing planning, and assessing the outcomes of the programming. Initiates long term plan for implementing the A+ Essentials/Framework with each school using A+ Tools and create a calendar or timeline of the plan. Monitor the progress of the plan, collect information and data, as well as analyze outcomes. Make assignments of fellows to meet professional development needs and collaborate with teams in development of requested workshops. Design and facilitate workshops and presentations schools. Design and facilitate trainings for fellows. Provide Instructional Coaching based on A+ Essentials to Fellows and schools. Facilitate presentations to disseminate information to those interested in Oklahoma A+ Schools network. Assist Program Director in recruiting of A+ Fellows. Creates and then performs maintenance and revision of spreadsheets for data purposes. Help maintain website information, contact lists, newsletters, and other relevant documents, both electronic and hard copy, as needed in execution of responsibilities. Stays abreast of current educational topics, trends, and strategies. This position requires some travel in order to perform the duties of the position. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in related field to the position plus 3+ years of relevant experience or 7+ years of equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts. Demonstrated application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results.

Experience Preferred:

Master's degree in Education. Experience in the OKA+ Schools network.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, human relations, public relations, and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) and web based applications. Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and interact professionally with all segments of the University community. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be detail-oriented. Ability to work productively with a variety of personalities and in a variety of situations.
