The Department of Neurology and the Center for Clinical Neurosciences at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana is seeking a board-certified and fellowship trained neurologist to serve as Director of the Movement Disorders Program. The candidate for this leadership position will join three fellowship trained movement disorders specialists, an advanced practice nurse, and a functional neurosurgeon who currently comprise the program.

The Movement Disorders Program Director will grow and expand the current movement disorders practice and will lead related clinical, educational, and research activities. The ideal candidate will have a background and interest in deep brain stimulation surgery. We especially seek a candidate qualified at the associate professor or professor rank, with a demonstrated track record in clinical trials, peer reviewed publications, external funding support, and with a drive to develop and grow those activities at Tulane. 

Located in New Orleans, LA, the area provides excellent school systems, abundant cultural activities in a world-class city, and convenient access to the beautiful Gulf Coast.



* Doctorate of Medicine
* Fellowship training in movement disorders
* Candidate must possess or be eligible to obtain a LA medical license
