Research assistant professor are individuals holding a PhD or equivalent terminal degree who play a major role in enabling research programs through collaborative and collegial interactions with faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students and staff.  The rank of research assistant professor is a faculty appointment in the Tenure Track.  A research assistant professor may apply his/her effort entirely to research, or a combination of research, training, lab managerial activities and grant submission.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1.  Terminal Degree (PhD/MD/DVM, etc.)

2.   A minium of 5 years of research experience in a relevant field (or area) post terminal degree completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

1.  Work experience in an academic environment. 

2.  More than 5 years professional research work experience
