Assists patrons with Circulation/Reserve/Periodicals transactions including check-out/check-in of library materials and receipt of money for lost books and/or fines, following established procedures and policies. Provides basic information and directional assistance to library users, both in person and via telephone. Monitors security and facilities in the building on nights/weekends, and reports problems to Public Safety. Supervises student assistants. Records departmental statistics. May perform other duties not specifically identified above but which require the same degree of skills and which are normally included within the above job title.
