Job Details
Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC invites applications for in-person adjunct positions for the fall and spring semesters. These positions are based on TTC's Thornley Campus.
Preference is may be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and who are available to teach in-person at other TTC campuses or sites.
To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a minimum of three (3) years current welding experience and must pass certification tests in each welding process taught.
Preferred QualificationsTeaching/training experience and an associate degree in a related area is preferred. Instructors are needed to teach entry-level through advanced classes in shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux cored arc, and oxyacetylene/plasma arc/carbon arc cutting processes as well as related courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection, testing, and codes.
