The Department of Chemistry at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking candidates for a non-tenure-track assistant research professor to start in Fall 2020. Research experience in the area of organic synthesis, materials chemistry, and electrochemistry, the latter including cyclic voltammetry, bulk electrolysis, and the assembly and cycling of redox flow batteries. Researchers will have the ability to take advantage of collaborative opportunities in the Department and on-campus. A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field and postdoctoral experience (minimum of 3 years) is required. Prior mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students is required.
