Job Summary

Research Administrative and Fiscal Affairs (RAFA) oversees the financial and budget operations for shared-use core facilities that report to the Vice President for Research. RAFA seeks an Administrative Support Associate I to assist the Budget Analyst by providing accounting, procurement, & billing software support. The Administrative Support Associate I will maintain data and tables, review month end data, and support implementation & updates for the Research billing software. This position will provide administrative support for designated core facilities by placing equipment & supply orders, billing off-campus users, processing cash/check transmittals, and other daily tasks. As part of the RAFA administrative support team, this position will complete monthly cost center reconciliations, process journal vouchers, SRM shopping carts, PRDs and provide other general support to the RAFA office. The successful candidate will be able to provide timely and accurate customer service, be knowledgeable of university policies, procedures, & procurement methods, and be proficient with SAP and BW.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Experience with Microsoft Office programs. Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial information and provide excellent customer service.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience

Accounting knowledge and experience with SAP are preferred.
