Position will assist the manager and in the operation of the University Bookstore. Responsibilities for managing the overall operations of the office which include accounts payable/receivable, payroll, supervision of office staff, point of sale, ordering office supplies and store equipment, etc. Responsible for assisting with year end inventory reports. Assist with daily store operations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position

Knowledge of processing accounts payable and receivables; reconciling transactions; preparing deposits; supervisory duties; customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency and two years of supervisory experience in the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Training or experience in an institutional Bookstore or retail operation, experience in general ledger accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash control, supervisory experience, point of sale experience and cash register and personal computer experience is preferred.
