Job Summary Come work in a CLIA-certified Covid testing lab. Help to keep our GATech community safe!

A position is available for a 6 month temporary research scientist to perform high throughput PCR screening for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in a CLIA certified laboratory. Applicants must have a minimum of a PhD degree, or board certification in clinical genetics (ABMGG) or medical technology (ASCP). Additional requirements include demonstrated experience with RNA purification and RT-QPCR. Experience with genetic testing, availability to work each weekday, and ability to meet timelines is required. First-hand knowledge of the KingFisher Flex and Echo 525 automated liquid handlers would be considered as a plus during consideration for the position.
