The Development Office Assistant performs diversified duties that include office management, executive assistant support for the Development Office along with clerical and organizational support for the various Development Office internal constituents.
The Development Office Assistant reports to the Executive Director of Development.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES· Serve as host for development visitors· Assist with scheduling meetings for EDOD, Development Officers · Purchase card reconciliation· Correspondence of donor birthday and anniversary cards· Proof various development correspondence· Prepare needed work orders· Maintain Development Office budget for EDOD and DOD’s· Provide support with special projects and Development related special events· Assist with travel arrangements for the EDOD and Development Officers· Basic understanding of how to utilize the donor tracking system· Assist with database management through scanning and organization of records· Backup for calendar attendance tracking· Assist with tracking the concept paper fundraising process (documentation, data storage, contact reports)· Assist with Planned Giving efforts QUALIFICATIONS

Experience·3-5 years of experience in an office setting managing data and reports.
Required Skills· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel· Passion for Indiana Wesleyan’s world-changing mission.· Effective interpersonal, organizational, writing, and research skills.· Strong understanding confidential nature of donors and donor information· Ownership mentality, with the persistence to independently see tasks through to completion.
