The Institute for Mobility, Activity, and Participation, Department of Occupational Therapy, College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida, invites applications for a part-time (0.5 FTE), Driver Rehabilitation Specialist. This position is grant funded for approximately 20 hours per week with the opportunity to increase hours depending on funding. The successful applicant will contribute to funded research programs by conducting driver rehabilitation assessments and interventions.

Within the UF Health System are an 850 bed teaching hospital, an 81 bed psychiatric hospital, a 40 bed rehabilitation hospital facility, and numerous outpatient and specialty clinics.Expected Salary:
Salary negotiable, based on education, skills, and experienceMinimum Requirements:
Applicants must have an entry-level professional degree (bachelor level or above) and be licensed/license-eligible as an occupational therapist or other regulated and licensed health care professional, in the state of Florida.Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of driving rehabilitation experience is essential.
Preferred applicants will be a certified driver rehabilitation specialist (CDRS), or a driver rehabilitation specialist eligible to complete the certification examination of the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED), shortly after being hired.Special Instructions to Applicants:
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours weekly, with a variable schedule.
