Preferred QualificationsPosition Summary

This position will be responsible for greeting visitors to the Gardens, accepting admission and tending to the Gift Shop. This position will, from time to time, need to help facilitate events and facility tours. This position will also help with marketing efforts and social media posts.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

The successful candidate will need to possess basic computer skills, QuickBooks experience is a plus. Candidates should be familiar with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Candidate should possess a positive attitude, be a team player and enjoy working with people. Flexible schedule is preferable.

Physical Demands

May include bending, stooping, lifting of upwards of 50lbs. Standing for long periods of time, possible. Possibly work in outdoor environment. Driving.

Duties/Responsibilities

Gift shop attendee/customer service. Assisting gift shop customers with purchases. Receive money for payment of purchased items. Greeting customers.

Gift Shop inventory – Maintaining gift shop inventory by stocking shelves, and daily counts of inventory sales. Reconcile inventory.
