This position will assist in the Central Supply unit of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital to provide medical/surgical supplies to clinical staff for surgeries and procedures that occur on a daily basis.Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
Preferred experience in a hospital within a sterilization setting.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

- Dealing with stressful situations.
- lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day on hard floor surfaces.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to accurately work with small, delicate pieces of equipment or large heavy objects/containers/machinery.
- Will come into contact with animal feces, bodily fluids and surgical equipment with blood. Safety conscious in wearing proper protective equipment.
