The college of Communication and design at Lynn university is in search of adjunct faculty in the area of Graphic Design, beginning in January 2021. Primary responsibilities include teaching and advising undergraduate students pursuing a B.F.A. degree in Graphic Design. The college offers a variety of undergraduate majors and minors in the areas of communication and media arts. The college is also host to a variety of graduate programs leading to M.S. and M.F.A. degrees.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Serve as undergraduate adjunct faculty in the College of Communication and Design
- Provide academic and professional advice to students
- Depending on the successful candidate's area of expertise, courses may include: Typography, Layout, Packaging Design, Motion Graphics, Web Design, Branding, Advertising Campaigns and portfolio development
- Master's degree in the relevant field
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level
- Ability to work successfully with students of diverse backgrounds
