Responsibilities

The Assessment and Testing Coordinator will work with the Director to administer, coordinate and analyze systematic recurring assessments.  The Coordinator will perform various aspects of institutional effectiveness accountability requirements including design, methodology, data collection, analysis and reporting of results utilizing various software packages.  He/she will implement the College’s plan for institutional assessment: determines a common timetable for assessment stages and advises all academic assessment activities by aiding with the selection of assessable criteria and the selection/development of assessment instruments.  Design in-house assessment instruments as needed or serve on selection committee to outsource assessments. The candidate must be able to Administer Student and Employee Satisfaction Surveys Integrates, evaluate, and document findings on institutional effectiveness activities and communicate results to appropriate units.  He/she will work closely with University departments to coordinate testing operations, schedule assessments and monitor procedures and perform any other duties within the scope of this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics; Educational Research, Measurement and Evaluation; or related field.  Master’s Degree preferred. The successful candidate must possess working knowledge of regional and national trends in educational research, evaluation, and assessment; effective problem solving skills; appropriate computer skills in word processing and database application software; ability to work effectively in a team and without close supervision.   The candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
