Lab Assistant – Physical Therapy Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Baker College of Owosso
Compensation: Compensation based on education and existing rates for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc.
Start Date: TBD

Reports To: Program Director
Work Schedule: Up to 28 hours per week, some evenings and weekends may be required

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of LAB ASSISTANT
– PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (PART-TIME) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker College of
Owosso.

General Statement of Duties:

Assists the Program Director with student clinical training. Provides specific program expertise. Handles duties specific to the program's affiliated sites

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in area of expertise required
  • Licensed or regulated in a United States jurisdiction as a PT or PTA
  • Minimum 2 years in program field preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in program software and equipment
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to lift and maneuver independently up to 25 lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Tracks students clinical and lab hours
  • Assists students during lab time on campus
  • Assures lab is maintained and organized
  • Assist Program Director with student files, surveys and schedules
  • Other duties as assigned
