Position Description:
Under the supervision of Prof. Pietro Musumeci, the Jr. Dev. Engineer will work in the Pegasus Laboratory to assist with operation of the beamline. In particular the successful candidate is expected to heavily contributed to the ongoing Accelerator-on-a-chip project, by performing simulations and modeling of particle beams in dielectric laser driven structures. He is also expected to take a leading role in the operation and maintenance of the Pegasus beamline, by providing support to controls, RF and laser sub-systems. Attend weekly meetings and group discussions per instructions from supervisor. Write up reports.
