The Molecular and Medical Pharmacology and California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow. The opening is intended for collaborative research working on the development of liquid biopsy assays for application in noninvasive prenatal diagnosis, and will be under the supervision of Dr. Hsian-Rong Tseng. These projects are backed by stable NIH funding in collaboration with clinical teams at the UCLA hospital and Cedars Sinai Medical Center. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Previous experience with digital PCR, next-generation sequencing, molecular assay development, and/or liquid biopsy biomarkers is highly desirable.
