Industrial Contracts Officer
Who are we?
The Industrial Contracts Office (ICO) is part of Stanford University's Office of Technology Licensing (OTL), which evaluates, markets, and licenses technology owned by the University. ICO negotiates and signs sponsored research and other research-related agreements with industry. In addition, ICO handles all University material transfer agreements and works closely with OTL on intellectual property terms for all research agreements. ICO also works closely with the Office of Research Administration and many other University research administration offices.
ICO enables Stanford research by negotiating mutually beneficial agreements with external collaborators that preserve academic freedom and scientific integrity. We ensure that ensuing Stanford technology is developed to its full potential to serve the public interest.
We are seeking someone to independently draft, negotiate and administer industry sponsored project agreements and collaborations, and material transfer agreements. Hold delegated signing authority for agreements on behalf of the university. In this position, you will:
