The Associate Director, Finance and Operations will direct the administrative functions, facilitate effective financial management and oversee the day to day operations of the Institute for Sustainable Energy (ISE). Core responsibilities include budget management and planning, financial tracking and reporting, post-award administration for external funding, and support for hiring and other administrative needs. This role will be the primary administrative liaison to THE Office of Research as well as other central BU administrative offices and will serve as the internal ISE expert on all financial and administrative matters.

Through interdisciplinary research, policy analysis, and collaborative engagement, our mission is to ensure that the energy systems of the world provide abundant, sustainable, and universally accessible energy services to both emerging and advanced economies.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S. Degree required, Master's Degree preferred; demonstrated accounting experience, exceptional oral and written communication skills, proficient in MS Office software, detail oriented and organized. Ability to take initiative, think strategically, problem solve effectively and work well with a team. Five to eight years of experience in a related field.
