Designs, implements, and maintains web-based applications. Designs, implements, and maintains databases in accordance with best practices and data security standards.
Collaborates with IT staff to provide recommendations for, implementation of, and ongoing support for all computer and IT related systems.
Monitors and reviews PCI DSS requirements to ensure departmental compliance. Identifies current and future needs to ensure technology supports the department. Researches and remains current with software and technology. Provides end-user support as needed.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other related degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience.
(Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
Knowledge and experience with ColdFusion programming.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Experience leading projects to completion.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Preferred Knowledge and experience with ColdFusion development and administration.
Knowledge of SQL.Pay Plan This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.Soft Money Funded Position This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.Schedule The work schedule is M-F, 8-5.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
